Aren't they cute!?!? The students really enjoyed making their Elmer elephants and enjoyed making up stories and adventures about their elephants. Our grade one students got to share/perform their stories for their big buddies and then the big buddies wrote down the stories and helped the grade ones illustrate their stories. I hope that you are enjoying some stories and puppet shows at home too! Please encourage your child to tell many stories about the many adventures of his/her elephant as story telling is a vital step towards story writing! Have fun making up your own adventure stories too!
